Holistic Growth, Verifiable Impact

Since 2007, the Village has provided quality care to disadvantaged children and orphans. The Village which started with six (6) children now has ninety-four (94) and counting. We have more thirteen (13) in the tertiary , and seven (7) in the secondary school and the number continues to grow . Rafiki provides health care, shelter, food and educational facilities for them as well as other children within the community and has a total of two hundred and twenty-four (224) pupils in her school from nursery to junior high school.

The Real Impact

What we hope to be

The Village aspires to house 100 children at any given time in a model school for the education needs of the children of Rafiki as well as those in the adjoining communities.

All efforts are being consolidated towards achieving this goal, leading to the establishment of the following facilities:

  • Five (5) Bedroom Residential Homes for children and Care-Givers (Mothers)

  • Clinic and Doctor's and Nurses Quarters / Guest House

  • Administration block

  • Two (2) Mechanized boreholes

The hope is that having come to the attainment of this, all efforts will be geared towards making Rafiki a safe haven, receiving children into the village as space allows, thus making Rafiki prolong its existence.

This can only happen through your support. Benevolent individuals, organizations, corporate institutions, and faith-based organizations are hereby solicited for support every gift allows another opportunity for a healthy life for the needy, the disadvantaged, and the marginalized child who has no one else to turn to.
