To provide Christ centered care and nurture towards holistic development of every resident child for sustainable wellbeing of Church and Society.

Our Core Conviction

Building Permanent Family Systems, Not Temporary Relief

To be the flagship embodiment of The Methodist Church Ghana's social intervention initiatives.

Our Foundation

Our History

The Methodist Rafiki Satellite Village is a residential facility of The Methodist Church Ghana for deprived, disadvantaged, abused, and orphaned children in situations similar to those previously described. The construction of the facility was necessitated by the disturbing discovery of the exploitative sale of children along the coastal areas to fishermen by parents facing severe financial constraints. These transactions were often based on firm promises that the children would receive continued education and adequate care. However, contrary to these assurances, the fisherfolk frequently put the children to work in fishing activities, exposing them to significant risks and unhealthy conditions detrimental to their well-being.
